In July 2019, I will be a Postdoctoral Associate at the W. Allen Wallis Institute of Political Economy at the University of Rochester. In recent work, I propose a structural model that can simultaneously estimate the theft of government revenues and bribery from public spending.
I have a PhD in Political Science (University of Wisconsin-Madison) and a PhD in Economics (University of Nottingham).
From 2007 to 2012, I was an Assistant Professor at the University of the Philippines School of Economics. I was promoted to Associate Professor in 2013, just before I began the PhD at UW-Madison.
